Successful Summer Internships

NACE finds that "Employers responding to NACE’s Job Outlook 2024 survey rate internship experience within their industry or their organization highly, and they made it clear that internship experience is the top factor they consider when deciding between two otherwise equally qualified candidates." Elias, Joel, and Laura made the most of their summer internships. Elias (Construction Engineering) worked for Jacobson Construction on a major project in Manhattan, Joel (Global Supply Chain) spent his summer at Caterpillar, Inc. improving data systems and reporting, and Laura Environmental and Occupational Health) gained hands-on experience as a safety intern with Kiewit Construction.
